Northern Ireland 2011 - Type of Firework

Information on the type of firework involved in the injury was recorded for 14 of the 25 persons injured during the 2011 Halloween period.

Of the 14 persons which reported the type of firework involved, 8 were from Bangers, 2 from Rockets, 2 from Sparklers, 1 from home made fireworks and 1 from other proprietary fireworks (Table 9).

Since 2007, the number of injuries reported from rockets has decreased from 20 to 2.
