Information on the location where the injury occurred was recorded for 21 of the 25 persons injured in 2011.

Of the 25 persons injured by fireworks and attending an emergency care department in 2011, more than half (13) indicated that it was a casual incident in a public place (e.g. street) and almost a quarter

(6) reported that the incident occurred at a family or private party.
